Muse
Black Holes and Revelations is the explosive, multi platinum fourth studio album from British rock titans Muse, originally released in 2006. Co-produced by Rich Costey alongside the band, the record represents a monumental turning point in Muse’s career. Fusing their signature space-rock riffs and apocalyptic lyrics with new influences ranging from funk, soul, and flamenco to grand, electronic synth-pop.
This release is pressed on heavyweight black vinyl, housed in a gatefold jacket featuring iconic surrealist artwork designed by Storm Thorgerson of Hipgnosis fame. This pressing delivers a massive, punchy soundstage that captures the full dynamic weight of Matt Bellamy's soaring vocals, thunderous bass grooves, and sweeping orchestral synth arpeggios.
Spanning 11 iconic tracks, the album packs some of the band's biggest global stadium anthems. Including the relentless bass-driven "Supermassive Black Hole", the epic, galloping space western "Knights of Cydonia", the infectious "Starlight", and the soaring political rocker "Map of the Problematique".
Widely regarded as one of the definitive alternative rock albums of the 2000s, Black Holes and Revelations is a must own centrepiece on vinyl for alternative rock purists and audiophiles alike.
We grade all records using the Goldmine Standard, the most widely accepted grading system for vinyl worldwide.
