Millions Now Living Will Never Die is the groundbreaking 1996 sophomore studio album from Chicago instrumental outfit Tortoise. Widely regarded as a defining masterpiece of the post-rock genre, the record shattered traditional rock structures by weaving together elements of dub, krautrock, minimalism, jazz, electronic music, and ambient soundscapes into a cohesive, atmospheric tapestry.

This 30th Anniversary vinyl LP pressing is presented on 180 gram heavyweight vinyl, housed in an upgraded commemorative jacket reproducing the album's iconic minimal blue artwork. This pressing brings incredible depth and spatial clarity to the band's complex multi-instrumental arrangements. Highlighting every vibraphone shimmer, dual-bass groove, polyrhythmic percussion pass, and vintage synth melody.

The album is anchored by the breathtaking 20 minute side long epic "Djed", a masterclass in studio as an instrument editing and seamless stylistic transitions, alongside post-rock staples like "Glass Museum", "Glink", and "Dear Grandma and Grandpa".

A landmark release that expanded the boundaries of modern instrumental music, this 30th Anniversary Edition of Millions Now Living Will Never Die is an indispensable physical centerpiece for experimental, indie, and post-rock audiophile collections.
