Japandroids
Japandroids - Post-Nothing CD
Description
Post-Nothing is the explosive debut studio album from Canadian noise-rock duo Japandroids, released in 2009. Self-financed by guitar and drum duo Brian King and David Prowse, the record quickly became a critically acclaimed indie landmark earning Pitchfork’s "Best New Music" honours and defining a generation of raw, high octane garage punk.
This CD edition is presented in a collectible tri-fold digipak sleeve. The CD itself delivers crisp, uncompressed digital audio that captures every bit of the band’s roaring, amp shredding wall of sound.
Standout tracks such as the generational indie-rock anthem "Young Hearts Spark Fire", the driving punk rhythm of "Wet Hair", and the atmospheric closer "I Quit Girls" highlight the duo's signature ability to make a two piece sound like a five piece band through towering guitar loops and triumphant, shouted dual vocals.
Years after its surprise arrival, Post-Nothing remains a quintessential celebration of youth, noise, and sheer rock and roll catharsis. An essential addition on compact disc for alternative and garage rock collectors.
