Limited Edition 25th Anniversary Pressing
Me Against The World is the deeply introspective and critically acclaimed third studio album from hip-hop icon 2Pac (Tupac Shakur), originally released in 1995. Recorded during one of the most turbulent periods of his life, the album marked a significant thematic shift for the rapper, trading aggressive West Coast anthems for vulnerable, soul baring lyricism that explored themes of paranoia, poverty, addiction, and systemic oppression.
This special 25th Anniversary reissue is a premium European pressing released in 2020, offering exceptional manufacturing quality for hip-hop purists and serious vinyl collectors alike. The double LP presentation celebrates the record's legacy as a cultural milestone, beautifully preserving the raw, heavy emotions and distinct mid 90s golden era hip-hop aesthetic.
Standout tracks such as “Dear Mama”, “So Many Tears”, and the haunting title track “Me Against The World” showcase 2Pac’s unparalleled ability to blend poetic, heart breaking vulnerability with street-level reporting, cementing the album as a late-career masterpiece and his most cohesive body of work.
More than three decades after its historic arrival, Me Against The World remains a cornerstone of alternative hip-hop. An emotional tour de force and an absolute essential addition to serious rap collections on wax.
