Description
Limited Edition 20th Anniversary 2LP Vinyl
Superunknown is the landmark 1994 fourth studio album from Seattle rock titans Soundgarden. A crowning achievement of the 1990s alternative rock movement, the record propelled Chris Cornell, Kim Thayil, Ben Shepherd, and Matt Cameron to international stardom. Fusing heavy, sludgy Sabbath-esque guitar riffs with psychedelic textures, unorthodox time signatures, and Cornell’s soaring, unmatched vocal range.
This 20th Anniversary vinyl reissue is presented as a deluxe 2LP set, on 180g Heavyweight Vinyl. Housed in a gatefold jacket featuring updated high resolution artwork and archive photos. The physical pressing gives ample space to the album's expansive production, allowing the heavy low end bass lines, visceral drum grooves, and intricate guitar tunings to deliver a powerful, room filling sound on vinyl.
Spanning 16 tracks across four sides, the album features the band's biggest global singles, including the Grammy-winning classics "Black Hole Sun" and "Spoonman", alongside fan favorites "Fell On Black Days", "My Wave", "The Day I Tried To Live", and bonus track "She Likes Surprises".
A quintessential 1990s grunge masterpiece, this 20th Anniversary 2LP vinyl edition is an essential centerpiece for rock collectors, audiophiles, and Soundgarden devotees.
